Hello My Name Is...
Here is a little about me:
I am originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area. I moved to North Carolina in 2009 and currently reside in Harrisburg. I have two children. My son is in the army and is currently stationed in Germany. My daughter is in 8th grade and loves to cook and play basketball. I worked for over 7 years in the Cabarrus County School District in the elementary school setting. I am very excited to be working as a 1st grade teacher this school year in Fred L Wilson.
College(s) Attended/ Degrees Earned:
I attended college at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio where I received a Bachelors degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Education.
I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Walden University.
Educational Philosophy/ Vision:
I believe that all children can learn and grow when provided nurturing, guidance, encouragement and support. The earliest experiences are what shapes a students educational foundation from which future successes can grow.
"It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings."
